Salsa Beginners 2 – Salsa Shouldercheck – Detailed explanation for the absolute beginner

The Shouldercheck is an alternative to the Cross Body Turn Inside. The only difference is that you will not finish the turn but stop it to get back into a Single Right Turn.

It is one of the many moves that are being made very frequently on the dance floor at the level of Beginners. It is a nice and easy move. Just remember a few things:
* Ladies wait for the impuls on 5! If the leader opens his frame do NOT start running to the other side but wait for his lead.
* Men, be sure to push the lady gently on the shoulderblade on 5 to make her step forward with her left foot and turn her on count 6 inside.
* Be sure that, at count 7, the lady is facing away from the guy.
Have fun!
