Now, I’m going to break down a triple turn for you. You can also do a quad or five or six turns, but let’s start out with a triple. Ball-change, parallel prep, then you’re going to push up into the passé, and you’re going to do three rotations in consecutive order. The arm is going to open. The right arm is going to open. The left arm is going to close, and you’re going to spot that head nice and cleanly three times.
You want to be able to try to control the landing out of it. So you can step out of it, or you could roll out of it which is an option, or there’s a lot of things that you could do out of it. You could do turn, turn, turn, turn, tombé, battement. The choice is up to you, but you really want to try to pull up and lengthen the whole entire body. And there’s your triple turn.
