We’re celebrating everything Flamenco this week at the CPO! Principal Percussionist Joshua Jones traded in his drum sticks for dancing shoes for an impromptu Flamenco dance lesson with Megan Matheson Hamilton “La Azulita” founder of Compañia Azul. Compañía Azul strives to bring a new voice to flamenco, melding diverse backgrounds in various musical styles, while remaining grounded in the flamenco traditions and inspired by the rawness of the art form.
