Kapalabhati Breathing Meditation | 10-Minute Guided Breathwork for Energy & Focus

Experience Kapalabhati, a traditional yogic breathing practice often known as Skull Shining Breath.

In this guided session, I will take you step by step through the breathing technique, so you can practice at your own pace.

Kapalabhati uses active, powerful exhalations through the nose while the inhalation happens naturally. The abdominal muscles gently contract with each exhale, creating a rhythmic breathing pattern.

This practice can be a powerful way to bring more awareness to your breath, feel more awake and focused, and prepare the mind for meditation.

✨ In this session:
• Introduction to Kapalabhati breathing
• How to use your abdominal muscles correctly
• Guided breathing rounds
• Breath awareness between the rounds
• A quiet moment to notice how your body and mind feel afterward

Find a comfortable seated position, keep your spine naturally upright and allow your shoulders to relax.

If you feel dizzy, light-headed or uncomfortable at any point, stop the exercise and return to your normal breathing. Never force the breath or breath retention.

This practice may not be suitable during pregnancy or for people with certain cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal or other medical conditions. If you are unsure whether breathwork is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
