In today’s video we will be doing an extremely calming and regulating Pranayama based breathwork.. Box Breathing (or in Sanskrit: Sama Vritti). Box breathing has an incredible ability to regulate our nervous system, increasing our ability to be present and accept the current moment as it is. It’s encouraged to either lay down or sit straight up, being mindful for what is most nourishing to your body – comfort is queen.
Throughout our Box breathing session, remember that if (or when) your attention wanders, you can come back to your breath focusing back on the 4 in, 4 hold, 4 out, 4 hold pattern. Let whatever comes up – just be there – taking responsibly for your feelings and letting yourself let go.
Thank you for showing up and doing the work today, and for any and all support you share. It is deeply appreciated from the bottom of my heart. Please share any and all of your breathwork experiences! 🙂
